In three years'time, Afghanistan is scheduled to resume control of its own security. There are currently approximately 130,000 ISAF troops in Afghanistan, among them Germans. The future of Afghanistan is the topic of an upcoming international conference to be held in Bonn. A delegates representing a wide range of bodies will report on what has been achieved in Afghanistan - and how they see the prospects for the country's future.

  • I don't think Germany should've ever entered the war. It should be the first one to pull out. My notion of the German people (after meeting them here) is that they are peace-loving and like to deal with justice. I sincerely hope that the Germans move out of Afghanistan at least militarily and let the circumstances decide who takes control. If the Taliban come to power, its no big deal (you morons!) Don't fight an unjust war.
