"To all the ladies in the house"

This is a photografic tribute to the best side of Woman's Day, a moment to pay homage and not to forget all those women who fought and fight to gain a voce, dignity, room and rights by challenging their times, environments, social conventions and the existing laws. Always with courage; often in solitude. Strength, tenacity and solid visions have allowed them to enrich the social, political and cultural life surrounding them: some through their genius, some through their creative abilities and talents, some through solidarity, some through an unwavering urge for justice and equality.

Even when their challenges had to face oscillating fortune, their example always sowed the seed of change (if it didn't cause it itself) for the generations to come: larger footprints to follow, and more motivating figures to look up to.
