The hill are alive with the taste of chocolate!
The greenest chocolate in all the land!
Packaging
Nothing says down home quite like an actual home. So it's quite fortunate that this box is big enough to accommodate even the finickiest of toddlers. Or whatever tiny creatures you see fit to house. You would think with a name like Green Mountain, all of their packages would be in a mountain design. They're halfway there, this house shape isn't too far off from a mountain shape. Just make the roof a little pointier and the sides a smidge narrower. Maybe throw a couple of guys snowboarding up there for good measure. What's up with those ski lifts by the way? Am I the only one who finds them absolutely terrifying? It reminds me of the Ferris Wheels you would see at circuses and carnivals, but with a greater chance of dying. Seeing as how most of these ski lifts are in arctic climates, if you don't get down in time there's a good chance you'll freeze some part of your body off. I don't even think the circus is open the winter so there's no chance of catching pneumonia on a Ferris Wheel. A lot of circus rides probably can't even run when it's too cold. Those machines probably use a mixture of cotton candy and roasted peanuts for fuel, neither of which taste good drenched in snow. However, combine them and you've got the ultimate energy food. Toss in a few pounds of peanuts, some funnel cakes, and squirt in a couple gallons of blue juice they mix the cotton candy in. Puree it for about thirty seconds and hit pulse in five 10 second intervals. Then, simply pour it out and enjoy! If done correctly, you won't require a straw. We're aiming for a milkshake consistency here, not a peanut butter vibe. Besides, sucking peanut butter through a straw is impossible. It should be an old timey saying. "Do not try to change the things you cannot control, it is as futile as ingesting the butter of peanuts with a straw". Obviously, I'd have to gussy it up a bit for the desk calenders I plan to release, but you get the general idea. I'm thinking about hiring Gary Larson from the Far Side comics to come work with me. If I can't get him, I'll probably call Scott Adams, Bill Watterson, or Jim Davis. Worst comes to worst, I'll get the guys from Penny Arcade to help me out. They're actually fairly witty, as long as you don't mention that juicer that makes loves to fruit. Yes, it's real, go check out the site if you don't believe me.
But be warned, you'll never look at grapefruit (or any round, jiggly, and wet fruit) the same way again.
Taste, Texture, And Consistency
The world of chip flavors is a vast and intimating culture. Every flavor, from Cream of Tartar to Tanzanian Spider Delight, is out there for the potato loving connoisseur's enjoyment. There's even "chips" that are made entirely of chocolate. I think they call them Swoops. Or as the commercials say, "SWOOP, THERE IT IS!", about a hundred thousand times. They really went all out with these chips though, I think they may have used those ridged Ruffle chips. I'm glad they went with normal flavored chips though. Had they gone with Cheddar And Sour Cream or *shudder Barbecue flavor, things could have gone down a dark path. I know that a lot of those "flavored" chips are just doused with a good amount of flavored dust, which saddens me. I'm still looking for the brand of chips that have enough guts to actually FILL their chips with the flavors themselves. For example, each Salt And Vinegar flavored chip would be filled in every little nook and cranny with real chunks of salt and liquid vinegar! Oh.... You know what, on second thought, stay with the dust. My fingers are already sticky enough after eating a handful. The last thing I want to worry about is my chip squirting me in the eye with vinegar like I just took a bite out of a grapefruit .
Overall
I love chips, I love chocolate, and now I love chocolate covered chips. These guys did a stellar job of combing the two! I'd say it's definitely worth picking up.
