Good thing Novo's pass found Davis and not Boyd there hahaha. I'd imagine Boyd would have tried to awkwardly trap the ball, dig his ass into the nearest defender, and look to shot or pass...either way, the actual result would have been loss of possession of the ball.

@campell72 Edu lacks a wee bit of consistency and at times his first touch fails him, but he is excellent when in form. Mendes was brilliant too, however.

Jelavić and Naismith are formidable, but I can't help but miss wee Novo.

Chuffed about having Bartley back again, also. Didn't like seeing Bougherra go (and most certainly not for a measly £1.7m), but Goian is just as good.

we have a better team now. we miss mendes but an in form edu is excellent in the middle and goian and bocanegra is better than weir and bougherra. we also have jelavic and the current stevie naismith is so much better than novo.
