The greatest moment at Dolphin Stadium is game 7 of the 1997 World Series.
Facts: The Marlins were only playing in their 5th season at the time and had had a losing record in their first four years. It was also the first time that manager Jim Leyland got to manage a Fall Classic.
After the Marlins won the series, Indians manager Mike Hargrove would later say when asked if he got over the Indians losing, that he'd "let you know." He still has yet to say it.
Honorable mention:
Al Leiter's no-hitter
1997 NLDS games 1 and 2
1997 NLCS game 5
2003 NLDS games 3 and 4
2003 NLDS game 5
2003 World Series games 4 and 5
Anibal Sanchez's no-hitter
Ken Griffey Jr.'s 600th home run
Roy Halladay's perfect game

  • It was called Joe Robbie Stadium, not Dolphin Stadium.

  • @xaqshuna2003 I know. I should've referred to it that way, since it was its original name. I'm thinking of re-working this video and if I do, I'll change it.

  • Wow, worst video ever. Tell your mom to change the wallpaper in her basement, you should chip in since you'll be there for a while...

  • I'm not in my mom's basement nor am I in her house. I do admit, that the wallpaper is definitely old. lol

I definitely looks more dated in the clip than in person.

  • Screw you that Marlins team was good. Plus I think the fact that the playoffs is a crap shoot is balanced by how difficult it is to make the playoffs. It is the hardest sport to make the playoffs and any team that gets there is talented enough to win. The 97 Indians were a very good team and I believe a championship level team unfortunately they lost to a team that was equally worthy in a memorable and exciting world series.

dont be a hater you sound stupid when you do that.

  • No offense personally but the comment deserved a screw you because it was a hater comment. The '97 Marlins were a legit team and they won in seven hard fought games. As a Marlins fan I feel that this team was good enough to repeat and maybe win a couple of times. If you look at the stats of the players that were traded you would see that I have a valid argument. That Indians team would have been phenomenal too if they stayed together. the champ in 97 was the fish. they were better, period.

  • @ret3718 I know. At the time that I made the clip, the park was called Dolphin Stadium (I now refer to it as Joe Robbie because it was a better name).

  • @VietKamoe At the time the stadium was Pro Player Stadium, not Dolphin Stadium like it was a few years ago.

  • Jose Mesa Blew it. The Indians almost won.

  • I'm not a hater, and you do make some good points., esteban.
