  • @McDave: It's the hardest 2 and most fun man boat that I have sailed! That being said, I have not sailed an Aussie 12 or the likes, so can't compare to them.

  • I14 is faster, larger boat with far more sail area. That's not to say that the 29er isn't a fast great boat...

  • WAY more than 15 knots! Near the end of the vid, we hit 22.5 knots going upriver. That was according to a 10 sec average on my Velocitek - so take it for what that's worth. Regardless, we were flying over the waves like a motor boat! It was a ripping few days in the Gorge!
