@McDave: It's the hardest 2 and most fun man boat that I have sailed! That being said, I have not sailed an Aussie 12 or the likes, so can't compare to them.

I14 is faster, larger boat with far more sail area. That's not to say that the 29er isn't a fast great boat...

WAY more than 15 knots! Near the end of the vid, we hit 22.5 knots going upriver. That was according to a 10 sec average on my Velocitek - so take it for what that's worth. Regardless, we were flying over the waves like a motor boat! It was a ripping few days in the Gorge!
