@theblasto GOOD! YOU BETTER!
Kidding. Still... I thought flipping was more complex.

It looks so simple in slow motion, and yet jaw droppingly quick at full speed! My hat is off to you! What would be a good source for learning new maneuvers? To dispel any misconceptions my interest in the balisong is purely aesthetic; In a self-defense situation I'd much rather rely on O.C. spray or a makeshift bludgeon.

i love it when people actually knows how to make the butterfly flaps it wings :D

That's all balisong flipping is? Just flipping it back and forth? Never once do you reverse its orientation in your hand, or close and open it repeatedly. You just keep it open and flip the blade and one side of the handle left and right. I thought it was more interesting than that.

@Supermassively It is and can be more interesting. I have other videos with aerials, hand transfers, and doing stuff with the bite handle. And in the end, I do it because it's really fun. Like learning how to yo-yo. Don't hate. Participate.

@theblasto Then you should have done the more interesting stuff. Even basic one-handed opening and closing would be more interesting than seeing someone flip it left and right.

@Supermassively I'm truly sorry for making this video. I'll take it down.

How sharps is your knife? There are a couple of time during the video that you make contact with the blade and sliding your finger across it. You could be hitting the back of the blade for all I know but cool. Please don't say it is razor sharp unless it can actually shave your face because as a knife maker, it gets annoying when people say that when it is not actually so.

@thechoreographer HA! I appreciate your razor comment. That drives me nuts too. I'm glad its not razor sharp, because I would never be able to keep that kind of edge.
But yes, they're sharp. Every-day-carry sort of sharp. I wonder if anyone has ever come up with a scale for sharpness. Anyhow, I'm in danger of cutting myself, yes. I have been cut thousands of times.
