  • Jazzie, I really enjoyed O'Captain! So glad you requested John to read it. JD has recently read John Keats letters and poems, you must hear those, oh my! JD has a beautiful voice and accent and he IS a poet, so lets keep him busy with requests, so that we can enjoy his amazing talent. I agree, I do sit on the edge of my seat listening to JD recite, simply stunning. :)

  • I asked John to recite O Captain My Captain and now I can listen to it. It is nice to find so many peoplel who like poetry as much as I do. I adore it. John has a special talent. He keeps your attention while we sit on the edge of our seats. Keep it up John.

  • Jazzie, I agree with you! JD has a special gift and creative talent of being a poet and one whose voice matches his passion. Ah, amour amour! Since you like Whitman, JD just recited O' Captain My Captain, its fantastic! Also see his other work, pieces he's written and those he's recited, you'll enjoy those beyond belief, absolutely magical. :) If I sound biased, I am, I adore poetry and finally found someone (John Doyle) whose multi talented and yes, his voice can make an iceberg melt :)

  • I would love you to read this whole poem. And also O captain My captain.

  • My goodness, what a passionate poem! From the look in your eyes and a hint of a secret smile on your face, I think you'd agree? Nevertheless, I thought it was quite exquisite, only because you recited it. Lovely.
