1995 mustang gt straight pipes

my '95 mustang gt with the 5.0 after getting rid of the cats and mufflers. Next is some long tube headers, intake and throttle body.

After going straight pipes, does check engine light comes on ?

@all4uromeo every now and then it will turn on for about 2 minutes but it doesn't stay on, not sure why tho cuz on my '97 GT I had the cats removed with flowmaster mufflers and the check engine light stayed on at all times.

does it has a aftermarket offroad h-pipe or x-pipe?

@12369187 it had flowmasters with h-pipe and no cats, all I did was remove the mufflers and weld in a piece of pipe with new tailpipes

@helmer36 Tell me about your MPG please, i want to do the same on my 5.0 stang cobra

@all4uromeo the motor is bone-stock, the exhaust is the only thing that has been worked on at this point...it's a 5-speed and I only get about 17mpg... it didn't effect the gas mileage getting rid of the mufflers
