The 'insurance companies' are turning a profit on providing billing/reimbursement services, not on insurance. They stopped providing insurance years ago.

2.4% profits for Insurance? Yahright. Their insurance profits have quadrupled in the last 7 years.
I bet ya that the '3 doctors he talked to' were all multimillionaires who bilk thier clients by ordering tests which take half an hour and cost 18K. My neighbor had that happen to him, for a test even his cardiologist didn't want, but the 'lab tech wanted to be sure' LOL
& Blur Cross/Blue Shield are complete pricks.
