13 miles of this every time you work? You must be in freakin' awesome shape.

Hehe...love the Brazilian song as back ground.

Hey,
What set up are you riding on? It looks pretty gnarly.

awesome..
i really can't get the hang of pumping.
i got the (cheapass) mindless hunter, with bushings adjusted to my weight (only 60kg)
and the mindless shifta wheels..
Been doing great on it, except for pumping..
got any tips?

most of this vid is downhill... so i bet you just have a dandy time getting to work

@pavedwave Does it help to be able to stand over your front trucks? I have a drop through with cutouts that make standing there kind of akward

It's like riding a fish home :)

That's Burke-Gilman. I longboard there pretty often. I think I've seen you heading back North. Not as good a pumper as you. Are some of your other vids shot at the Mountlake Park and ride?

@jexterrapanan - hopefully we'll connect on the burke. Haven't been to the ML park n ride, if you're thinking about parking lot video that's probably the Elks lodge in Lake City. i pump around there until they kick me out.

does it help to have a board with alot of flex or no?

@723STONER - i LIKE the combination of flex and good responsive bushings, working together to snap you out of each turn. not saggy flex, its gotta have snap like a guitar string. flex fell out of favor in slalom half a decade ago, as the top racers moved to stiff park like decks, focusing more on the concave and kicktail, but in long distance skating some flex is not only good for popping energy out of pumps, but also cushy over tons of miles-- your body will thank you later!
