Collapsing Lungs was signed to Atlantic Records in 1994. Crackerjack was the first and only single and video released from the CD, "Colorblind." Due to internal issue within the band and lack of promotion from Atlantic, this was the only release from the band. The majority of the members regrouped and formed, L.U.N.G.S. and released, "Better Class of Losers" on Pavement/Zoo/BMG records.
the drummer was chris goldbach..he now plays in irish car bomb and radiobaghdad

I had a chance to see them @ The Birch Hill opening for Dee Synder's Widowmaker in 94.I bought the bassist Jack they were so different for the time.Dee said it best from the stage that night Atlantic would fuck them over, saddly he was right.

@DRUMMERFISH67 Actually, Collapsing Lungs aren't even footnotes in the early hip-hop/metal combo bands. Actually, considering Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit, I don't know if rap rock is a genre I'd be proud to father.

This was such a badass group. I remember the shows in South Florida. They were a huge draw. Its a shame they signed to a major label and faded away.

It was disappointing how Atlantic treated them. They deserved better.
