India Australia 2003 final Part 2

Australia clinched their third Cricket World Cup with a thumping 125-run victory over India.

Captain Ricky Ponting hit a blistering 140 as the Aussies scored a massive 359 for two - their highest-ever one-day total.

Despite a fighting 82 from Virender Sehwag, India could only make 234.

Australia reached the finals by beating every team and won the finals. They continued beating teams after the world cup they won test`s they wont ODI`s thats what you call World Champions.

This years champs couldnt beat every test playing nation team and we now know how good they are playing out of sub continent post world cup

@r14balu I'm going to keep this about cricket....Australia dominated the game from 96-2007 like the West Indies did in the 80s..So many all time greats retired..As you are seeing Australia are on the way back to the top...Just look at bowlers coming through..The next World Cup is in Australia..Just looking at all the current teams South Africa, England and the West Indies are the only ones that can stop Australia from winning there 5th World Cup
