sign language is open to criticism thats how we become better at it! the way my asl book and my teacher show it like a gun! index finger and thumb out when u connect! 2 pointers make the sign right or correct! i appreciate u guys helping people lear but need to get it right.... and if i am wrong handinhandtogether please send me a pic of the correct way from the book u learned that from! thnks guys keep ur work up!

His signs might not necessarily be wrong. If I'm correct, don't signs usually depend on the area in which the signers are located? Where I'm from [San Diego, CA] the signs for son, daughter, brother, sister, and parents, greatly differ from the ones depicted in this video. If he's going with his regional signs, he could be signing right.

@EpaTurtle ASL is not like English at all, they share little, if any, grammar rules. In short, being verbs are typically used.
