Holdin' On: A Nick Jonas Story Chapter 1

Hey all! I'm not telling you anything about this series. ha! The vid is just random... well, theres a series pic but that's like..it. HAHA :D
Well, comment! I'll probably post chp2 around lunch then chp3 before dinner :D

I grabbed my wallet and sun glasses, my signature black Ray Bans, off my dresser and walked out of my room. "Mom, where's my keys?" I called as I walked down the hall.

"I don't know, honey," she called from some where down stairs. I groaned. "Maybe one of your brothers took them," my mom suggested.

"Of course," I muttered to myself as I turned and walked back up the stairs and toward my brother Joe's room. I didn't bother to knock because he more than likely still sleeping. I walked into his room and stepped over some clothes. He, like i had thought, was still sleeping. "Joe," I yelled, pulling his blanket off. He didn't even move. I pushed his body a little bit, "Joe get up." Again, he didn't even twitch. Well, this is just useless. I looked around his messy room for a minute for my keys before giving up. Sighing, I walked to the end of his bed and grabbed his ankle. After getting a firm grasp on it, I pulled with all my strength. Joe came flying off his bed and onto the floor with a screech. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Nick!!" He yelled at me, "what the heck is your problem?!" My brother glared at me, still on the floor.

"Where are my car keys?" I asked, twirling my sun glasses between my thumb and finger.

"I don't know!!" He groaned and pushed himself off the wood floor. "Why would I know?!"

I rolled my eyes, "maybe because you often take my things without asking, like my socks!"

He snickered, "I do, I do. I am totally awesome."

I sighed dramatically, "where are my keys, Joseph?"

"Well, Nicholas-," I rolled my eyes at that, "-Oh, don't you roll your eyes at me, mister."

"Joe. My keys!"

"Okay, okay, geez!" He reached over to his desk and pushed over a bunch of things. Joe grabbed my keys and tossed them at me. "Happy?"

"Yup." I grinned at him and winked then left his room.

"You suck," my brother called after me. I laughed and bounded down the stairs.

"Going out, sweety?" My mom asked me, looking up from the table she was dusting.

I walked over and kissed her cheek, "mhm."

"Where are you going?"

"Um, no where, really. Just gotta fill up then maybe I'll go shopping or something." I explained. "Do you need me to pick you up anything?"

"Yes. Let me get my list." My mom walked away from me and into the kitchen. I groaned and sat down on the arm of our couch. This might take a while...

A few minutes later she walked back into the room. After scolding me for sitting on the couch arm, she handed me a piece of paper.

"Okay, you have to get two of these, don't forget that because it's important but I didn't write it out. Hm, maybe I should." She started to walk back into the kitchen but I grabbed her arm.

"Mom, it's okay. I won't forget." I smiled reassuringly at her.

Nevertheless, my mom eyed me skeptically. She sighed, "alright." She walked back over to me and showed me the list again. "Make sure you get this exactly as it's written. Okay?"

I nodded, "okay." I smiled and kissed her cheek again. "See you later."

She smiled back, "bye, Nicholas."

"Bye," I said before walking out of the house. I got into my car and slipped my Ray Bands on. I started my wonderful sounding car and began the short drive to the Shell Station place.

It's sort of a newer writing style for me... It's like come what may, sort of. Like, the writing style.. not the story. Just incase you didn't get it, the whole thing is in Nick's POV... Well, I think the whoe thing, I've only got up to chp6 writen. hahah. :)
Btw, on chapter 3 it gets more excitting. Very... intense - Creative! Really, creative.... *the look*
