  • amazing timelapse, i can feel how hard this can be with just 4 hands :p

How long did it take and could you pls tell me what programs you use to record / compress such a so long timelapse?

  • @karic87

It took about 6 1/2 hours to build. It was recorded using Fraps set at 1 fps, for editing I move all of the video clips across to Linux and uses Kdenlive for editing and rendering.

I set the clips in this video to play at 7000% speed.

  • Yay! You didn't use an Approaching Nirvana song! :D

    Amazing build.

  • @codyvidal

    Thanks

I have been trying not to use the Approaching Nirvana stuff as I don't want to be seen to be copying other well know timelapse builders. I think the reason the Approaching Nirvana get used so much is because a. they are really well suited for this kind of video and b. their very kind permission to use the songs even with partnership channels.

  • Thumb up if u can see the glass at 1:30 where the camera guy stayed.

  • @MrIonutz98

The Glass block you can see was positioned to mark the maximum build height for the map so that we gauge how high we could build to.
