I mean the following in a good way: you have a really flawed voice, which makes your singing quite unsettling and sad. It's a great cover. like the chap above says, it definitely changes the nature of the song.

I just clicked this by chance after a late night Morrissey binge. You sang that song very well, and it made me realise the meaning of the words where Morrissey's original version might have hidden it. You sang the words with a certain, more heartfelt sadness.
