Disney musical Beauty and the Beast "If I can't love her" Russian

One of Russian "Beasts" is Maxim Maminov. I think that his voice is too tender but I love his performance in this part.

I think Maksim has very good voice.

The problem is that his voice sounds higher than beast's voice should. Terrence Mann (original performer) sang low notes deeper, and it was great. And russian performers have different timbre, they sing like tenors, not like baritones.

It's not good or bad, it's different:)

Personally i prefer tone color simular to Mann's voice.

@andykulakov you right there is nothing wrong with his voice or his singing but sometimes no matter how well you sing sometimes your voice just doesn't work for some works and the voice for beast in this case is one of those situations. It like having a woman with a lower voice range to play belle nothing that has to do with feminism it just that it doesn't suit belle's character. yes, he is still a good singer and he makes it work non the less so he makes up for it.
