ukilledkenny7 explores basic techniques to enhance the look and feel of your machinima (or other video project) by creating artificial lighting and artificial depth of field. These techniques are very subtle but can provide focus on the desired subject.

I am currently saving up for a higher quality mic as well as a better screen capturing program.

These machinima tutorials are provided by CommunityGamer.com and TheDigitalSet.com.

  • hey kenny, what editing software do you use? It looks really good.

  • @A27Team haha thanks. I used Jing to record my screen. I ended up using After Effects to put most of it together because Jing saves the files in a .swf format and AAE is the only program I found that could edit those file types. However when the file is dropped into after effects it basically deletes the audio. So I re-recorded the audio in iMovie. Then put it all together in Final Cut Pro. Then sent it to Apple Compressor and created a custom codec.
