I understood exactly what you meant, and I clearly stated that I am not American. "We in Europe... ," I said. I'm from England. I'd be speaking German right now if it wasn't for FDR, that's my point. Americans have more to be proud of, and we rightfully envy them. God bless America. God don't save the Queen.
I just agreed with you and you seem not to have understood what I meant...
I don't know if you're American but if you are, you have this opportunity in your country to show that you're proud of your nation, you Americans are proud of your nation... But the French aren't proud. And THAT sucks a little bit ! I wish that one day the French (mofos or not =P ) were proud of what make France identity, I wish that the French were as proud as the American are ! But the question is, are you american ?
French mofo, I only wish that our nations had heritage as strong as the Yanks have built up in such a short time. Franklin D. Roosevelt and the USA saved us from Nazi Germany when the French and British soldiers weren't up to the task. FDR's wisdom and unparalleled love of democracy is now sadly taken for granted. We in Europe owe him a huge debt.
Hey, this is at Staples Center, you French motherfucker.
A bit too patriotic, you think? It always seems to shock non-Americans when they find that the anthem is performed before every sports game. America is a proud, proud nation. And rightly so. I'm sure you're jealous of its greatness. And rightly so.
The Lakers' defense this year sometimes reminds me of the defense France put up against the Germans in WWII.
HRE, it also bears mentioning how deGaulle was sniveling to JFK for protection against the Russians in 61-62.
(Real unclassified negotiations):
deGaulle: "Can we trust you to use nuclear weapons if necessary? Would you like more frogs and snails, Mr. President?"
JFK: "Yeays, you caayn. Yeays, more frog."
Nikita: "Pull zee missilez!"
Fidel: "What's wrong, mi amigo?"
