The story of butanol as told by ButylFuel and Dave Ramey. This video explains the benefits of biobutanol. It also tells the story of how Dave Ramey drove a Buick powered only by butanol across the United States.
i own a 2003 ford excursion, i mix 60 percent n-butanol to regular gas.. i have been driving pure but it does not fire up that well.. the only reason i can get my hands on affordable butanol is that i own a coating company , butanol is often used as retarder in coatings.. in europe the prices for regular fuel is almost 2.50 usd per liter and with the pricing for C4H9OH it is profitable for just me, i would like get in contact with people who have the same ideas.. josh
