Flowmaster 40 on Z24

This is my 1993 cavalier Z24 with a 3.1 MPFI V6. A 2.5" cat-back with Flowmaster delta 40 muffler and hooker 1-into-2 3" tip.

What is the part number for that Flowmaster delta 40 muffler?

I want to get one for my 1989 Chevrolet Cavalier z24.. the current one is too noisy...

I got this one, Flowmaster 952546. That has an offset inlet, and a regular center outlet. I'm not sure which style you would need for your 89 but just take a look and what your stock one looks like. Then go to Summit or Jegs website and search for flowmaster delta 40.

wow! im not usually one to like the sound of a 6 cyl with an exhaust, but this sounds good! it has a thoaty almost v8 sound even at higher rpms

NICE SOUND!! i wanna do this to my 01 z24 but what all do i need to replace? jsut the rear muffler or the one up front, both? Some help would be nice.. thanks =) and that is a nice tip
