This place is nothing like NY. This place is exactly what it is, an extremely conservative city and one of the blandest. This city has the personality of a pet rock.

Thank you. My husband's from a small Eastern Colorado town/stop and this is nice to be able to see the softer side or the heart of a big city. We want more for your next one. A longer one interviewing Houstonians. Thanks. Want more. Or one like this of the burbs and heights. Katy, Heights, Missouri City are my biases or where family stay. Thanks again!

Wow, I was born in Houston, lived in the memorial area till I left for school in 84. I have been thinking about moving "back home". This video is helping me seal the deal.

Best of all....cold and snow...NEVER HERE!
Like the woman said, Houston does not try to be NYC, but it sure is looking almost like it. Great shopping, especially at The Galleria, nice music/entertainment, lots of sports, and a good place to do business during the recession. Oh, and did I forget to mention that when it comes to dining, Houston wins hands down. No other city in Texas, not even San Antonio or Corpus Christi, could beat it.
