  • Like the woman said, Houston does not try to be NYC, but it sure is looking almost like it. Great shopping, especially at The Galleria, nice music/entertainment, lots of sports, and a good place to do business during the recession. Oh, and did I forget to mention that when it comes to dining, Houston wins hands down. No other city in Texas, not even San Antonio or Corpus Christi, could beat it.

  • Its strange to hear ppl talk about houston being so awesome. I guess I take it for granted since I live here. lol

  • This place is nothing like NY. This place is exactly what it is, an extremely conservative city and one of the blandest. This city has the personality of a pet rock.

  • @esb84 it's more like 3 months out of the year. oct-april is lovely, may & parts of june/sep are warm but bearable...july, august are the killer months lol

  • Houston is DA BOMB Born and raised here.. but AUSTIN is where my heart is at..

  • sweet. I love my city.

  • Thank you. My husband's from a small Eastern Colorado town/stop and this is nice to be able to see the softer side or the heart of a big city. We want more for your next one. A longer one interviewing Houstonians. Thanks. Want more. Or one like this of the burbs and heights. Katy, Heights, Missouri City are my biases or where family stay. Thanks again!

  • Thank you.
