Very well done....beautiful music befitting a man like Richard Long. A wonderful actor, so natural, seemed equally comfortable in comedy or drama. His talent was evident even in his early film work with the greats of that era. I was 16 when The Big Valley premiered...and he stole my heart. Those eyes were beautiful ..but I loved his smile. What a man! Hope you have found the peace you deserve Richard...and are reunited with your lovely Suzan.

Beautiful tribute to a fine actor!!! He had the most beautiful cornflower blue eyes!! I had the honor of meeting Princess Diana in Chicago in 1996 and she and Richard Long have the same color eyes!! Rest in eternal peace, your work and memory lives on!!!

Yes! Hauntingly beautiful. Very appropriate for Mr. Long.

I believe it's sad when the soul departs from the earth, however, he will be remembered in our memory. Our Lord Jesus Christ watches over all of us and surely want the best for us. May Richard Long rest in peace!

i didn't realize just how big and blue those eyes of his were. if only hollywood were made of more actors like him...it would be a much more respectable place. Rest in peace Richard

Beautifully done. Richard Long was such an outstanding actor. And from what I understand was a good man. I grew up watching him, starting with reruns of Big Valley :-). Class act, something that is sorely missed in Hollywood these days.
I'm a huge Big Valley fan. I love this video tribute to the very fine actor, Richard Long. I am curious though -- where did you get this music? It sounds very much like the music from the movie "Unbreakable" with Bruce Willis. Am I wrong?
Anyway, great video. Thanks for sharing!

This man is one of my favorite actors of all-time. A fellow saggie, he is likened to being my spirit guide in that his disposition was so wise and gentle and when i was a kid, "Uncle Jarrod" was FAR more real to me than my real-life one!
