Now that I've uploaded some MKF levels I figured it's time I introduced mine.
Jazz Jackrabbit Fusion (name may change, though I like this one right now)
This is a JJ1 based level. Right now it's a mix of the best parts of the Diamondus levels with my own additions. I've finished the layout and object placements so all the hard stuff is pretty much done by now. I'm intending to add more JJ stuff such as enemies and other goodies.
Besides the level itself, there're color-based diskettes; they work just like Rupees, but give you a big point bonus as an incentive. It works like this: X rupee value x 100 points = Y total points. So if you grab a 50-rupee diskette, you'll get 5000 points!
Also, did I mention this level is huge? There are several alternate paths along the way and quite a few secrets as well. I decided only to show a few and rush through the stage. The rest you'll figure out by yourself ;)
For now I'm trying to tweak this level a bit. It seems for some reason the 2nd part of the level made my FPS go down quite a bit; I was forced to use frameskip for it. Perhaps I might have added too many objects... Also it appears you have a better chance of surviving with a spartan suit than with a megaman suit, so I'll try to balance both.

  • So you lucky, because I'm already designed a few levels on Hello Engine 3

    (including "Robot Museum" and "Over the big clouds"),so I can make the decoration of the W.I.P. rooms, and perhaps I can fix the granade glitch...I only need the download link of your demo version(including all your levels, perhaps, I can help you on some other things...)

  • Uh, no. My source is being worked on by Shodian, I don't need any kind of help on anything except for coding (which he is working on so I'll have to wait), but thanks for the help anyway.

    And I can't say I know those levels, sorry.

  • You forget to place obj_solid under the flagpole, that's why it's glitchy.

    And why you don't happy

    with the decoration?

  • You know, I could've sworn I placed an obj_solid in there, but turns out I didn't.

    I'm not very happy with the decoration because the inside of the cave is kinda bland, there's only the waterfall, the flag pole, a tree stump and the exit, though the outside is almost perfect. But anyway, depending on the objects that are being coded, this part might be scrapped anyway; it was basically a temporary spot for the flagpole.

  • Rebel Soldiers granate wasn't explode on slopes, fix that!

  • I'm not a coder, I'm a guy that's designing levels for fun... but yeah someone should fix that.

  • I would love to see the addition of weapons like toasters and launchers in this game. They would fit really well in the jazz jackrabbit universe

    ...I mean, you forget to change the layer into 9, that's why there's a graphical glitch on places like 0:51 ...

  • If you still didn't notice, it was a joke. Anyway the objects and enemies are being coded by Shodian, meanwhile I'm keeping myself busy with some other projects.
