Al Gore Is More Important Than You

This is Al. Al lives in a giant 10,000 sq ft house with just his wife (one of three houses he owns). He's better than you because he can afford to be "green". If he got his way, you wouldn't be allowed to fly unless you had lots of money like he does because he'd like to keep the riff-raff from putting too much carbon in the atmosphere by heavily taxing flights. No backpacking through Europe next summer my little hippie friend, you can't sell enough bad poetry to afford even a coach flight if he stomps his feet hard enough. You'd also have to live in a tiny box-like home because you can't afford the price of energy in his carbonless world. Have allergies and want to avoid the pollen in summer? Too bad, you can't afford to keep your windows closed and run your air conditioner to keep out the nasties. Like to unwind watching TV? Sorry, not unless the sun is shining in your particular state to power the solar panels and the rolling blackouts miss you. He could build a nuke plant but he doesn't think that's the solution because he's convinced we can operate our energy consuming devices on love. Don't forget to dress warm in the winter because it's chilly riding your bike to work. His healthy gas tax increase will encourage you right out of your carbon spewing, earth hating, death-wagon but dammit, you're a better person for it. His convoy of SUV's only need a fill up of pixie dust every other month. Yes, we should all thank Al Gore for ushering us back into the horse and buggy age with unrealistic energy policies that no one but him can afford and that can't yet live up to the demands of the real world. But not to worry, his visionary leadership will eventually have us all walking in peace and harmony to stand for hours in the unemployment lines caused by our ruined, overtaxed energy-starved economy, where we can laugh and laugh at how foolish we were for ever wanting to live as nicely as he does.

Well Al Gore is an idiot. Ya folks. Go ahead and put bulbs in ur house that will save you no more than 2$ a month on your energy bill; but will expose you and your family to high levels of poisonus brain damaging mercury if say you kid knocks over the light on accident. If someone SEES a problem and does not immediately, personally, solve that problem themselves, that does NOT mean the problem does not exist. Visit another country and you will NOT find the level of waste and carbon use that we see in the U.S.
