  • @Daconthocon78 I never really used it and could use the cash.

  • Oil it? Only if the fan stops too fast when turn off and starts humming then you can oil the bottom bearing but its not like an old desk fan that you HAVE to oil it otherwise it won't run right. Also a ceiling fan can take up to 60 seconds to slow down from speed to speed, if you would have let it longer on medium it could have slow down enough.

  • Thanks for the info, and I decided not to oil it considering its been sitting brand new in a box for 20 years.
