A Danish made proffessional Reel to Reel recorder I tested a and overhauled.
Made the vid just to show the functions of it.
A great sounding machine (Sorry about the sound in this vid)

Thank you for sharing this short video clip.
I just got a PTR-1 yesterday. But the rewind and shuttle botton did not function. Can you share me what would be the problem?
I disassembled the kayboard-CPU board. Clean the face and put them back.
This machine can play and fast-forwarding. I have not go through recording check yet.
The previous owner only demo the play function since one the tak-up reel screw was loose. I guess I can correct this problem so I took it home.

@cittroman Jeg er stort set glad. Der er meget nikotinlugt fra min. Jeg må skille den ad og se om jeg kan gøre ngoet ved det. Den er jo desværre født med en fläkt i bunden, så alt inde i har sikkert lidt nikotin på sig.
Og så undrer det mig at når båndet løber ud så stopper den ikke men kører op i hastighed inden jeg slår strømmen fra. Den ignorerer at jeg trykker på stop og det må være en fejl.
Jeg har en FRED på vej. Jeg vil se om den opfører sig lige sådan.

Ah, I remember it as if it were yesterday!

@DoRayMeFa Hey! Actually it was almost yesterday. This model saw first light 1989 and did cost 16000 usd manufacturing stopped 2007 and factory closed 2008.
This model is made to be very easy to transport and comes with a special rugged case.
It's a rare bird today, I was happy when I got the chance to work on it.
