(All Rights Belongs to PBW) Pro Bodybuilding Weekly Show #191, May 24, 2010 Hosted by:
Dan Solomon & Bob Cicherillo

When he passed away, 9 months shy of his 50th birthday, the bodybuilding world lost a giant. Mike Mentzer was far more than just a Mr. Olympia runner-up. To many bodybuilders, Mentzer popularize the "High Intensity Training" (H.I.T) that helped define an era and usher in a new approach to competitive bodybuilding. His battles on stage were legendary and comparisons to Schwarzenegger are still debated by those who felt a Sandow Trophy belonged in his trophy case.

In response to countless requests, "Pro Bodybuilding Weekly" is proud to welcome a few of Mentzer's close friends for a special tribute to the former Mr. America and Mr. Olympia heavyweight Champion. Joining Dan & Bob, the Hall of Fame guest list includes 7-time IFBB champion Boyer Coe, The Original Giant Killer Danny Padilla (and more - to be announced). -- This special tribute edition of bodybuilding talk radio is Presented by MuscleTech -- visit www.BodybuildingRadio.com

  • Wow, great stuff! Thanks Dan and Bob. Maybe you guys could do another tribute or two? Specifically Edward Kawak and Andreas Munzer....

  • Jon, thanks for taking the time to post this entire radio program. It was insightful, and even though I've tried to read and watch everything I can find on Mentzer there were still new tidbits of info in there that I had not previously known.

  • This is great Jon. I couldn't catch this program. I'm so glad you recorded it.

    Thank you and good job.
