I am Jewish, have family who helped found Israel the experiment, was a member of a Jewish/Palestinian Zionist youth movement in the 70's...and I am ashamed, not at Israel's success, but at its failure...and I am growing to agree with Dr. Kovel. I hope people fully appreciate the desperation and hope injected into Israel's founding, and it's slow bleed into what now seems to be obvious failure.

Habibi never heard of the one state solution or even the two state solutions...pals accept both solutions, becuase accually they have no choice except to accept..it is rthe israeli governement backed by the israeli public who do not want any solution...and again..if the pals refuse the existance of israel in any form it is..it is 100% fair and logical..and the west have to find a solution for the problem it created out of greed and desire todominateand we are not in a worry hon.Justice will come

Well, it just seems that as long as the Palestinians and much of the Arab world do not allow for the continued existence of Israel, the Israelis have no real option but to keep building them ugly barriers.

or other westerners actually know what happened and support their tyrant brother, just because he is "The brother"...and try to justify the injustice by stupid claims about that the arabs them selves has their times in waging wars and conquests...well the narrow minded western mind forgot that indeed the arabs had their times, but I dare anyone to proof that they ethnically cleansed or evictedpopulance in the nations they invaded. TO DO the Fuck'n right thing and support justice because you knew the true story, not the media story...think as a true honest moral man....who would support justice even if the criminal is his own brother or father...most westerners are either brainwahed with falseness and lies that they believe that israel is the good side and arabs are the bad side and the stuipidity is that they relate that to them being good christians,..while the christ was never acriminal nor he supported ethniccleansing.

Joel Kovel and Noam Chomsky may or may not be correct in their assertions, but they are the two most boring speakers I ever encountered. What exactly, pray tell, do you two guys want us to do?

there is no resmblence what so even between the partition that happened in India and that happened in palestine..In indea, those on both sides on the line are indians...pakis and indians are actually one, not a single trace of arab origin could be indentified in both nations...however in palestine, the russians that were thrown to the land by the brits were totally alien to the land from the indegenous populance that lived on land..all israelis belong to eastern europe. where was livine born?
