nuclear technicals?
Actually electromagentic radiation is a wave (and at the same time a particle, if you want to strictly adhere to quantum theory)
Radiation merely means the propagation of energetic waves or particles from a source
Not so stupid when you think about it

You're not suggesting that the whole house is covered in Aluminium mesh?
To shield against EMF and RF sources effectively it's important to understand that the radiation is deflected or made diffuse by the Aluminium screen and so it needs to be directed to a ground source or away from your body or home
So when sheilding a smart meter in your meter box at home for example, proper earthing is needed to direct the radiation to ground

Here are a few more helpful shielding recommendations: To shield your home from neighbors' smart meters, metal mesh or metal covered materials (as long as the holes in the screens are smaller than the wavelength emitted by the smart meter). If your siding is stucco, the chicken wire provides shielding. Low-e housewrap (aluminum mylar type coated wrap) blocks RF too. Aluminum blinds and metal window screens. It was good to mention that one can reflect RF back onto yourself if you are not careful.

You will confuse some stupid people to say ''radiations''. It is waves, frequency, not radiations !!! Radiations comes from nuclear technicals or isotopes.

@tipper1232 I am told by a firm that shields professionally that they get an additional 10% reduction in RF when they ground (which they prefer to do).

@thisirradiatedlife aluminum ions can travel from the material and even through other materials and contaminate other material.for instance aluminum pots were taken off the market because the negative effects,so the scum who dont care started hiding the aluminum in a steel outer shell.the aluminum goes right through the steel and in to your food-use cast iron or ceramic
aluminum anything cant be good for you - how do you know this isn't disinformation to make things even worse?

@adamatova Well, don't ingest it, and wash your hands thoroughly after handling. Aluminum that is not ingested or in contact with your skin or with your food, etc, I would not think to be a danger.

Doesn't shielding your wifi and sitting far away from it kind of defeat the purpose of having it? I guess it will at least stop you from uploading garbage to the internet.

@soxmoe1 The issue is the very strong field within a ten-foot radius of the unit. Units are configured for a large area of connectivity; I've seen units put in the far corner of the garage, and still someone gets NetFlix on the bedroom TV. Most people who have reactions like heart rhythm disruption from WiFi usually have these problems when in close proximity to the unit. The field drops off quickly outside of 3 meters.

@thisirradiatedlife Please explain to me the physical principle which allows a nerve in your heart to act as an inductor. Induction is how a magnetic field is used to create electricity. Unless you have an iron core wrapped with coils of copper wire in your heart, you are not going to to induce any current flow from an extremely week em field. You are getting far greater magnetic field exposer standing next to your fridge when it's running, or any other motor in your house. Furnace, dryer.

@soxmoe1 How about a good provocation study? Search on MagdaHavas site for "Microwave Radiation Affects the Heart" and watch for yourself.
I do not have the medical explanation, but part of my inquiry into the matter began when, after five years of suffering heart arrhythmia episodes sitting next to my WiFi unit, I removed it, and now, for the last eleven months, I no longer have that condition.
