A tribute to my favourite character from the Dead or Alive series of games: Helena Douglas.
The illegitimate daughter of Fame Douglas, the beautiful Helena first followed in her mother's footsteps, becoming a world-renowned opera singer. However, after the assassination of Douglas, an attempt was made on Helena's life. While singing on stage alongside her mother, the assassin Christie attempted to murder Helena, foiled only by Helena's mother jumping in front of Christie's bullet, dying to protect her daughter. Helena entered the second Dead or Alive tournament to try and uncover her mother's murderer, mistakenly believing Ayane to be responsible. In the third tournament, Donovan held Helena prisoner, forcing her to compete while he took control of DOATEC. Christie, disguised as Helena's servant, tried to kill her near the end of the tournament, but failed. In the fourth tournament Helena, now following in her father's footsteps as head of DOATEC, confronts Christie, having discovered that she murdered her mother. The result of this particular battle is unknown, except that they both survive. Finally, at the climax of the fourth tournament, Helena, plagued by flashbacks of her mother's murder, sets all systems in the DOATEC tower to self-destruct, preparing to die alongside DOATEC. However, Zack saves her at the last minute, hurtling in aboard a helicopter to rescue her just as the three DOATEC towers explode.

This is quite a break from my previous videos! I just wanted to do a homage to my favourite DOA character =) As the end screen says, all clips are from DOAU2, DOA3 and DOA4. The music is (again) by the best band in existence, Kamelot (http://www.kamelot.com ), and I in no way own either the music or the clips, using them for purely non-commercial entertainment reasons.
As usual, here are the lyrics:
Once a while
When your sorrows have a name
And day is dark as night
There's no remorse and no redemption
Close the door, can you hear the crowd is waiting
For a last encore
Screaming out for my attention
Chanting my name
Welcome all
To curtain call
At the opera
Raging voices in my mind
Rise above the orchestra
Like a crescendo of gratitude
This is my song
Like the dead
I am on the other side
They're howling in my head
There's no remorse and no redemption
Hush my dear
Let the music fill the night
And soon it's all we hear
Screaming out for my attention
Chanting my name
Chanting my name
Welcome all
To curtain call
At the opera
Raging voices in my mind
Rise above the orchestra
Like a crescendo of gratitude
Don't wake me until it's over
I... I may be dreaming away
Chanting my name
Chanting my name
Welcome all
To curtain call
At the opera
Raging voices in my mind
Rise above the orchestra
Welcome all
To curtain call
At the opera
Raging voices in my mind
Rise above the orchestra.
Enjoy!! =)

Thank you =) To me, it just really fits her character - the idea of tragedy being intertwined with the opera.
