I still watch this and wonder, "How amazing would this game be if it was just like this trailer?"

i liked what they tried to do with Brink. it had a great concept and the developers obviously had good intentions. but i feel the game engine just wasnt ready for a game of that scale, leading to many bugs and glitches, and the level designs were just too linear and confining. this game would have been better with a massive free roam map. i think this game does deserve a sequel with a totally revamped game engine and an emphasis on next gen technologies. i saw hope for this concept and still do.

I doubt it, unfortunately - I do wish they'd have updated the game - or at least given it a suitable engine (the original version looked AMAZING, though it was too complex for the engine they used, which is why it's had to be scaled down so much). :(
