MvC3: The Rage Quit Hunter Ep 0 - The Prelude

Should have really started this series a while ago, but here it is: the Rage Quit Hunter. Going forward I plan to record my online matches and capture the misdeeds of bad sportsmanship. Hopefully I'll make it in time before UMvC3 comes out.

For now, here's some footage of me trying to rise up the ranks. You don't see rage quitters until you hit lord status, but its interesting to see how people played at such low rankings. Turns out Marvel isn't as easy as I thought it was.

maybe you should play a really zone heavy team in ultimate to be more likely to find rage quitters, maybe something like, Hawkeye, Hulk, Doom O:

@MASTERSHAKE1557 well there is that possibility, but I believe in fighting without the intent to cause rage. I'm no better than the rage quitters if I'm fishing for it after all

You mentioned that you'll be finding some beginners that you'll crush and discourage people from playing again. I find it interesting that you voice concern about that, as I don't hear it too often. I'm glad that you're sympathetic to them.

I'll be one such beginner, though I'll be playing over Xbox Live so we won't meet. I know I'll be crushed repeatedly, and I'm prepared for that.

I actually have played BlazBlue before. It was my first fighting game and I couldn't understand it.

@Overhazard yeah, i don't have too many friends that play fighting games because they get turned off after one online session. It's not like an FPS that people can pick up and play :P

Blazblue pro level had a lot more ragequitters because of the long ass combo with Hazama-like you pulled out in this video you know. tbh, MvC 3 is all about skill and playing online immediately after getting the game is like using a lv 1 character to fight a lv 200 character.

Dude, people can't stand my team because I use Wesker, Deadpool and X-23 and when people lose to my X-23 they tend to get pissed off and quit cause my X-23 is too good lol

I swear to god, I induce a Rage Quit once out of every six opponents, these days. I'm almost certain it's cause of my team too (Jill, Chun-Li, Trish)
