This Camper Van Beethoven's song got stuck in my head so I had to put together a video for it. The Camper vid is actually Eyes of Fatima pt. 1 and the Angels vid is for My Boyfriend's Back.
This is just for fun, please enjoy...

No it's Camper Van Beethoven. The group that did Take the Skinheads Bowling. Part of the group is now Cracker.

David Lowery was the only CVB member in Cracker. CVB is back together now and even recording new material. Cracker is also touring (Cracker & CVB actually tour together) but are not writing new material.

There are a lot mainstream bands right now that I think would be decent live. For me, the main thing is I can't get over how shitty and generic all CD are recorded to sound like... really cold, synthetic, and processed. When you listen to albums and songs from the 80's and early 90's, the recordings had just as much personality as the music. Personally, I think there is actually much more good music now than ever, but everything really forward thinking alienates more people than it mesmerizes.

Sigh. High school in the eighties wasn't so bad.

Saw CVB play this at a tiny bar in Eugene to a house so packed it spilled out into 13th street. For some reason they didn't want to play Where, Where the hell is Bill.

I'm only seeing this video now for the first time - but I really can't imagine a better video interpretation of it. I'm kind of obsessed with this video. I was already obsessed with the song. Terrific work!

I think you mean Nirvana sounds like the end of this song.

I clicked "play" before knowing this was from 1985. Mind blown a little. Also, cool stuff. Also, RIP Lou Dog.
