@arthurtwoshed yes such good rubato
-
Calming and peaceful
-
Magical playing.For me Ferber is the best Faure interpret.
-
It follows its predecessors Chopin, Schumann and Lizst as well.. yes - tres romantique et authentique..
-
This is beautiful--
Why is not Faure's works as popular as his predecessors, Chopin and Schumann, and his contemporary, Lizst?

Bellissima! Fauré è un genio. Sa inventare delle armonie bellissime, facendoti immergere in un mondo parallelo. Stupendo.

@pslogge there aren t so many but there are quite some forgotten names under the pupils of Marguerite Long who should get into light again.... The generation of Ferber did not have the chance to live at a time where recordings were very important and largely distributed. The best time for that were the 70Ties and 80ties.

One of the best pianists I ever heard,thank you so much for posting this treasure

Génial, je viens de donner un récital avec les autres élèves de mon école de musique et une dame âgée d'environ 80 ans nous a joué ce morceau! Quelle merveille!
Merci à ce pianiste de me faire revivre le grand moment que j'ai vécu ce soir!

excellent playing. I was wondering, there were so many good pianists and we have been stuck to few names agressively promoted. Thanks for presenting Ferber.
