This is our cordwood hen house and our chickens. The house is constructed of 6" slices of cedar logs, rocks, bottles, glass block, shells, lumber ends, dog bones, and a bird house all set in mortar.

  • What a neat idea for a coop, I cant see the inside but regardless it is a pretty little shed even if you decided to use it for tools or whatever. Gave me inspiration for building something similar this spring, for mine. :)

  • alrite cool thanks im just 17 but i want to build my own home in this style in the next five or ten years have some chickens and hogs do like my great grandparents did just live off the land

  • love it.

  • you need to talk about the coop and let us look in side. How did you build it etc.
