@Coaljet Not really alot of difference from the VC10. Both are very noisy birds but so graceful to watch.

Very interesting because it is a classic jet. But I think that it must have been unbearably noisy sitting back there, with the piercing engine note... I would say that had this plane been designed with a conventional tail and engines slung under the wing, like the IL-86 or DC-8, it would have been more pleasant to fly in. Sure, it must be really quiet up front, but in the back - whoa!
