@itlogo Once you shoot the open gun, its hard to go back (its like coming over to the Dark Side). I think used is fine. Like most mechanical items, you will need to replace parts as they wear.

Nice videos; I like that you pointed out the cost of modifications--it does make one question the need to buy a brand new gun. Only problem I see with your videos: now I want one!

Interesting video! Do you have any experience with the STI Executive model with .40 s&w cal. ?

@kluetenkloeter From looking at the specs it seems to be pretty much like the EDGE. With the main difference being that it is Hard Chromed. Do you have a particular question in mind?

@nictaylor00: Thx for your reply. I was asking with respect to aspects like precision, trigger weight and intensity of recoil...

@kluetenkloeter I spoke with someone at STI and the only real difference is that the Executive is hardchromed and has a Dawson Precision front site. Other than that, they are the same. The hardchrome looks nice and it will make it easier to clean. But mainly it comes down to if you like the black or silver look. Check out the "dawson super tuned EDGE" at Dawson Precision. I think it may be a better deal all around.
