This is a really gripping film about an undercover agent (Deborah Winger) trying to infiltrate a white supremacist group. Berenger plays Gary, one of the suspected supremacists. Winger finds herself drawn to Gary.

In this scene, she meets up with Gary and his buddies at the bar.

Buy the movie on Amazon! It's really good, but has a disturbing theme (about racism and white supremacy) and some violence.

First saw "Betrayed" on OnDemand earlier this year and watched it the entire time it was available. Had never heard of it, but loved Tom in it. In fact, when it was then shown on Encore, I taped it. You're right, it is disturbing, but Tom was great! Ever since, I've seen just about everything he's done. Didn't know he was in so many movies, other than Major League, Big Chill and Platoon. Terrific actor and easy on the eyes.

@Bentley1888 It is an old confederate song called the "Yellow Rose of Texas." But those are the original lyrics and they are only singing chorus. More than 25 years after it was written the lyrics were changed to eliminate the more racially charged words/lyrics. exam: "Soldier" replaced "darky." Yellow was a term not just a word in those days

Old, really interesting film. I read reviews and a lot of the critics didn't like it. Ebert gave it 2 stars. Maybe it wasn't politically correct enough for them, but they should have thought again. It's under rated and/or under seen, like another old film I saw her DW in called "Mike's Murder." It is European in it's direction and also haunting even if you think there are flaws in the plot

@RhodesLives Look at my channel profile. I've always said I won't upload complete movies.

The reasons again: Encoding 90 minutes of good quality H.264 is time-consuming. Why should I do that? The DVD is available at a low price. What reason do they have to ask that I go to the trouble to upload a copy for them? Just because they are too lazy or cheap to get their own copy? How do you think I got my copy? I'll tell you--I got it from Amazon.

The sense of entitlement on YouTube amazes me.

@berengerfan it only takes a few moments to cut segments lol thats fair enough u dont know me and i dont know u but by the looks of the comments im not the only one to ask.

@RhodesLives Thanks, I guess, for the software recommendation? I already have an excellent converter. I encode with H.264, which is processor-intensive and takes time. Plus I would cut each segment into 15 minutes, which also takes time. And why should I go to all that trouble for someone I don't even know, because they can't find a way to buy a £5 DVD?

I have had friends lose accounts for uploading too many films or TV episodes, so I prefer not to take that chance. It's my decision to make.
