  • A saw that size will wear you out just carrying it to the tree! Guy I work with has a couple of 084 Stihls and I won't even pick one up. Well, I have in the past. I got a bad back though, so there's that. Lots of firewood there, that's for sure!

  • Just to let you know maybe they don't have Eucalyptus tree's in North East USA but we sure do here in California, millions of them, they were imported over a hundred years ago and there're everywhere, just a block down the street from me there's one with a good 6 to 7 foot trunk

  • YOU HURT THE FEELINGS OF A FALLING TREE....

  • @Buzzjugs lol just what i was thinking

  • @gallagherregan how old would you say those were

  • To aussiebluemax; many such gum trees were planted as primary wind breaks in horticultural areas. They grew fast, and were intended to be felled when the slower growing secondary wind break trees reached maturity. But the fast growth rate of the gums in NZ meant that the milled timber tended to warp and split more than timber from their slower growing Australian counterparts, so only the best parts of the best trees are used for anything other than firewood. Rarer red gum makes fine furniture.

  • Sorry, but I don't see any 250-footer there. Second one maybe 150-160', with lots of it being really scrawny.

  • now clean it up

  • gum makes good firewood too!

  • I'd say not more than a 150ft tree. Certainly not more.
