Double neck guitar: Acoustic body (very small size), side sound hole letsyou hear your own acoustic sound, headless necks, 24 frets, normal stringlength (650 mm). The 6 string neck has a midi pickup and the 7 string neckis partially fretless, both necks have nylon strings. Both necks can be used at the same time; playing with both hands on the 7string neckand playing different harmonics with right hand on 6 string neck at the sametime; playing the 6 string neck with left hand only while right hand playsharmonics on 7 string neck or; using the percussive sound of guitar body atthe same time. The 7 string neck can be used for different styles - classical, flamenco,folk etc. The fretless part of the neck lets you make original and specialsounds, or imitate fretless bass. The 7 string sounds like bass and guitarplayed at the same time. The 6 string neck can, through midi converters and processors (like VG 99),produce many sounds for different styles of music. Playing technique includes elements of classical, acoustic, flamenco, jazzand rock, indian, arabic and russian styles. Andrei used different tunings for each neck in this piece. Recorded at Andrei Krylov's home studio in Quebec.Everything recorded live: no overdubs, no prerecorded sound, no loops.

What type of double neck are you playing? It looks very interesting, I've never seen anything like it before. Where are you from? I'm asking about the guitar because I build them for a hobby, for 10 years now. Is the guitar electried, where is the hole and tuners? I love the headless neck.

Guitar made by Sebastien Doucet, according to my ideas. Keys on the bottom. Holes on sides. it has several pickups including piezo midi pickup.

The guitar looks electric and reminds me of an electric guitar/controller in same instrument played by guitarist of a band in the 70's called Missing Person's. The band was together only a year but reached international status quickly. The drummer played with Frank Zappa before that. Hope you know who Frank Zappa is. You are missing much if not.

I did not see guitar in Missing Person's... This guitar is both acoustic/electric with nylon strings.

Also one neck is 7 string and another is 6 string and I use 2 different tunings on different necks at the same time.

OMG!!!! HEY BROTHER, i am a producer from the UK and was just checking out melodies to get inspiration from. i play the keyboards.. and do make mainly mainstream music and indian based fusion pieces. i usually NEVER use or ask for anyones samples... but this is a whole new level opened to my ears, and i would be honord to use even a simjple 10 second clip if u allow. it will be of course for promo use only.. and i would shw u it firt for approval. The guitar uses a piezo and is a midi controller, it is an acoustic the hole is on the side and knobs on the bottom. Ask the man about his wonderful guitar as I did.

The guitar in Missing Person's is not double neck, you will see it when you see one of their out door concerts in CA, that California on YouTube. It is there. Type in the bands name and look for the CA concert, the female singer is the drummers wife and is not wearing very much on top.
