As Russian and U.S. policymakers more and more often have opposite views on the international issues, we've decided to invite to our studio political analysts from both Russia and U.S. to discuss the reasons and perspectives of these controversies. Our guests are Jessica Mathews, the President of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and political analyst Viktor Linnik.

  • I'm a proud American and I want to see more respect for Russia. Russia is a great power and a great people, they gave us a chance at friendship and the west should get the fuck out of their area and return that respect. Long live the Russian federation, and the U.S! Fuck NATO, I see no need for it anymore! Lets work with the Russians, not make them feel like we're enemies!

  • Then you've noticed Russia is considered an Energy Superpower and can cause half of the European Union to lose power and gas overnight. The fact is Russia is now a stable country, and if you saw anyone starving I bet you were walking in New York.

  • Russia has an economy the size of Spain, there will be no new arms race..

    The Russians lack the resources....

  • @DuffyD1982 BTW your submarines would probably be more successful than our ICBMs. The ICBMs take a longer time to reach its destination than Your Nuclear Submarines. But i think the difference is only by at least 2 to 4 hours lol. Good Luck to you to.

  • @DuffyD1982 Thank you for further explanation. There are many people in the United States Government that seem like they have never looked at the world map. i am more concerned about what my government is doing (was doing, did do) than any other nation. Building a nuke shield at the European/Russian border to protect against Iran, which would be far out of range, is completely idiotic.

  • @The13thflower And I mean at the time (over a year ago). When Russia was offering our base for radar deployment which was much closer to middle east and there would be no doubts that this shield is made not against us. U.S said "NO" we don't want your help. Well don't have to be Einstein to understand that there's something doggy about this program. But now they are making good progress in many aspects which is just perfect.. 1y ago I just reminded that guy about the submarines :D

    Good luck ;)

  • @The13thflower My friend as we see lately U.S and Russia are working closely together in many issues. But at the time when i posted my previouse reply 1 year ago. Your government was simply trying to setup a nuke shield at Russian border saying that it's to secure Europe from Iran. I mean this explonation can only work for someone very stupid and for someone how never looked at the world map. We can see that Iran is too far from that shield... In fact Europe doesn't have any tentions with Iran..

  • @DuffyD1982 but there is something a alot of people on both sides of the ocean don't understand. If there is a nuclear exchange then there wouldn't be a Russia or an America to protect. Now i am not saying that either country has a right. I just think using nuclear weapons is like drinking Sulfric Acid and expecting yourself to be okay. I have two friends who were exchange students from russia and i would be sad to hear that my Government is resposible for their and their families deaths.

  • Now I know how they spied on us in the 80s.This Russian does a very good western accent.

  • If Russia does cut the gas and oil they will be poor and will starve...

which is why russia never claimed to have this intent.

  • no one hates the west. People are i just tiered seeing on tv seeing, british and american spies buyng their way in our cociety.

Almost every year we capture sum one from the west who has been eather, paying students to form some marches against our government, stealing technologies, or worse...

We are sickened by cnn, cnbc, and the rest of western mass media forming opinions against Russia and my people. sry for my spelling
