  • This is fascinating. For a long time now I've been telling my pupils that it is only a matter of time before someone invents a device that will help in maintaining a neutral larynx! At the moment I insert my fingers into the space between the thyroid cartilage and the hyoid bone in order to give them a glimpse of how it feels to sing with that space open.

  • @JussiPaul Thanks John Paul! I believe a lot of voice teachers and students will like this method once they learn about it. If you read the Journal of Singing, you can find in the January/February 2012 edition an article I just published explaining the research, data and methodology that led me to invent this product. The article is called "Teaching Lower Laryngeal Position with EMG Biofeedback."

  • I did the original research and development for this method over the past few years, and just finished the software development phase over the last month or so. The BioGraph Infinity software suite for voice and larynx training should be available commercially from the Biofeedback Foundation of Europe (BFE) very soon. I'll post a link, as soon as it's ready.

  • Hi, This looks awesome. Do you know if this is done in the UK at all?

  • @benbmx1 It will be available in the UK soon, I hope. The software goes commercial this month (available through the Biofeedback Foundation of Europe), and classes will be available online to train voice teachers in the use of the equipment and program. Right now, though, I'm the only one doing this.

  • @yiyibin Brilliant thanks. Do you have the future link so I can bookmark or somewhere I could read a bit more about it? Looks very interesting!!
