Discuss the claim of Jehovah's Witnesses that their organization alone has been chosen by Jehovah God since 1919 to tell the nations of the earth about God and his requirements for everlasting life. Use their publication "The Nations Shall Know that I am Jehovah - How? chapters 4 & 12 along with Deuteronomy 18:20-22.
From that book "The Nations shall know that I am Jehovah - How?"
Chapter 12 ("Until He Comes Who Has The Legal Right") .
p.216 "Jehovah's 'Sword' against 'all those of flesh'
par 9: "Shortly, within our twentieth century, the 'battle in the day of Jehovah' will begin against the modern antitype of Jerusalem, Christendom. ...
par 10: "However, Jehovah's 'sword' will not be applied merely to those adhering to Christendom. It will also be brandished against 'all flesh from south [Christendom] to north.' Religionists belonging to all the rest of the world empire of false religion will feel the cutting edge of Jehovah's 'sword'. ... They will not be left to gloat over the destruction of Christendom as a rival religious system.
par 11: "... As the 'battle in the day of Jehovah' against all false religion gets closer ..."
par 14: "... When, not before very long, the authentic report is published that Jehovah's executional 'sword' has actually brought about the utter ruin of Christendom ..."
par 15" "... The modern-day remnant of Jehovah's anointed witnesses are calling attention to this notable 'sword' that Jehovah will unsheath against the organization of hypocritical Christianity, as the prophet Ezekiel was told to do ... "Son of man, prophesy, ... For the purpose of organizing a slaughter it has been sharpened ..."
par 54: "... they will be brought to eternal ruin in the 'war of the great day of God the Almighty' "

@dsh3354 No, JWs have nothing to do with spiritism or astrology. However, years ago in the early 20th century they made a brief use of a book called "Angels and Women" that was supposedly dictated by a demon.

Very interesting. I live with 4 jehovahs witnesses. And i was born and raised as one. I was in jail for a couple years so ive had time to look at the organization from a different perspective. You seem like a good person to talk too.

@MrJustinhodge89 : thank you. It can be very difficult to help family members that are JWs, especially if you were one. Never use ridicule, show them love and respect. If you ever wish to talk let me know. I recommend having a solid understanding of mainstream Christianity by reading things by Lee Stroebel, Gary Habermas and William Lane Craig. Also take a look at my other youtube videos.
