Don't be a victim of situations. No matter what comes your way, always be kind to others. Its not good to be bitter and hold on to anger! Let's change the world with random acts of kindness!

  • the expression of anger is often perceived as power. and kindness or empathy as weakness.

  • Its so true. Why is this so? Being in the state of anger is sometimes easier to do. While actually engaging in kindness brings forth effort and a state of mind that is not easy to achieve!

  • in an hierarchically based society this type of thinking and action are necessary to hold things in place. thankfully there are thousands of other cultures that show us this is definitely not "human-nature"... that in fact the use of empathy and cooperation are more or less the rule than the exception. we can change this dominator culture, by being those examples you speak of. much gratitude to you

  • Wow! Thanks for that. I didn't know this. It's ironic how in these cultures you speak of is a rule, but then some look down at these like unnatural. This really sparked my interest. So much that I put down the book I am reading New Moon, just to find out more info on this, and believe me not, putting down this book is not easy. :)

  • it is shocking. being so immersed and never having actually met other cultures i was convinced for much of my life that all people were like 'us'; greedy murderous etc. ashley montagu has written and edited many great anthropological works completely dispelling these assumptions.

Learning non-aggression : the experience of non-literate societies / edited by Ashley Montagu.

i also recommend alfie kohn and jean leidloff.

  • Thanks for the info and the suggestions. I will definitely check those out. Thanks for taking your time out and sharing, I really appreciate it a whole lot! :D

  • very good video...if we are going to change the world we can't lower ourselfs to their low leveled standards.... cause if we did the world would have had another nucleur holocost like we almost had in the cold war era

we have to unite with kindness and grow spiritualy if we want to have a positive future.

  • You amazing!

  • Thanks for the support! :D

  • AMEN LOVE IT! Thank you for taking a stand and not giving in to the work of evil that tries so hard to lead us all astray! HUGS xoox
