I agree with the German guy. I had a flamenco teacher who was from Japan. She is an incredible dancer! In February this year, I went to see a flamenco guitar player from Minneapolis (USA) who is nothing short from amazing (He goes by the name of Juanito Pascual). That proves that you don't need to be gypsy to have "duende." The rest is just gypsy turf.

This is fucking embarrassing to watch, she's good....... don't get me wrong, but she lacks the emotion, the history, not to mention the ethnicity which is essential to Flamenco singing. Watch final scene of Tony Gatlin's 'Latcho Drom' and you will understand what I am trying to say. She is a fantastic singer though......I feel I must reiterate that.
