Resident Evil 5 - Unused Character Speech

Various unused character speech from Resident Evil 5.

There's even more unused speech which is scripted for certain story mode missions but I didn't add any of those since it's so much harder to go through.

A few of these lines might actually be used, for instance very minor lines like Chris' "After you.", but I'm very sure 99% of these lines are never heard ingame. The most notable ones are probably that Barry, Rebecca, Josh and Excella all say Jill and Wesker's names, even though they aren't in mercs reunion. Maybe Capcom did consider or are considering to add them later? On the other hand, they have so much other unused dialogue which would only be used in a story mode chapter.

Similarly Jill says the names for Excella, Rebecca and Barry (even says his name in the goofy way she did in RE1). And all of Wesker's lines are just amaziing. "Don't make me laugh!"

There's one small line I forgot to add to the video. Rebecca does say Josh's name 2 times. Once while talking and once while shouting.

In case you dont know 2 years later, because this game died fast, but they actually released a new DLC in which these, or most, were used. Plus, some of this can be heard in Mercs, depending on which characters you use. I still find it funny that they were preparing for the DLC this early on...

@Statikez Are you talking about the Gold Edition? Because this video was made after that was released. I'm very sure all of the speech in this video can't be heard without modding the game.
