I don't think that's quite phrased the way you want it to be. It implies that other gendered people don't know they're alone. Maybe, "humans are the only beings who know they are alone" or "human beings are the only creatures who know they are along." It just distracted me and made me laugh, and that's clearly not the point of this song/video.

@SarahSango Just the mic on my Mac. I add a touch of reverb in Garageband afterwards, but that's it!
