If the software of a computer is its mind,
then why not the mind of a human is just software
that might be backed up in need?

Just as one dying candle can ignite another one
while the transferred flame keeps its identity,

the same way the natural intelligence can be
connected and converted into artificial intelligence,

keeping its identity, i.e. being the same person.
This can be done on and on, yielding IMMORTALITY!

This DIGITAL IMMORTALITY is expected to be achieved
shortly after the technological SINGULARITY.

If the founders of Google have ever sought
a googol of something, the best choice is:
a googol of seconds long GoogoLife for all mankind!

P.S. It lasts only 30s due to Google's restrictions, so my voice has been UNnaturally altered. I'll provide another slower version soon.

  • i would not entrust google with my mind and soul....

we would need digital family cryps serverhalls where our ansestors could live on.... and maybe be merged into one endity eventualy....

  • My point with this video (a proposal for the Google's Project10tothe100) was to suggest to Google to establish a FOUNDATION to support the scientific research and fictional works (books, movies) concerning SINGULARITY and what I called DIGITAL IMMORTALITY - a theoretically possible process of transfering human mind into a computer (also called MIND UPLOADING), and then (if needed) in even stronger computers, so the mind will never die forever.

  • Is this just talking about "copying" the mind or actually transferring it?

  • Couldn't someone this way hack your brain?

Although, I must admit that commercials are a sort of hacking a brain except they are indirect and not always efficient.

  • have you got more information about this stuff ?
